Five Simple Steps to Stunning Skin

 

 

We're busy and we want it now! Adopt these super simple habits consistently and you'll be glowing in no time.

Step 1: Drink at least 2 litres of water per day

This one's super simple and so important but often in our haste we forget to make this happen. 

And if you want to get a little more specific, use the following formula to calculate the optimal amount of water you will need each day:

Litres per day = Body weight(kg) x 0.033

Then add an extra 500-1,000ml for every hour of exercise you complete.

Step 2: Add Collagen Companion to your daily routine

Step 3: Adopt a balanced diet
You've probably heard the old adage, "you are what you eat!" and this is certainly true. Try to eat fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds and lean proteins such as  lean meats, beans, lentils, eggs, tofu etc) for 80% of your diet. Then enjoy your not-so-healthy foods from time-to-time with a clear conscience. 

It's what you do the majority of the time that counts and the phytonutrients and antioxidants provided by a good diet can do wonders for your skin. You'll be working with your body, not against it, so it will be easier than you think.

If you're feeling overwhelmed about the thought of this, start by aiming to consume five serves of vegetables or salad daily. One serve equals 1/2 cup of steamed vegetables or 1 cup of salad. Simply achieving this will do your skin and body a great favour.

Step 4: Limit/Reduce alcohol and avoid cigarettes
